Jupiter in Taurus, May 16, 2023-May 25, 2024
Jupiter enters Taurus on May 16, 2023 and will stay in that sign for a full year until May 25, 2024, which is very encouraging. Jupiter, the planet of abundance, good fortune and expansion is very comfortable in Taurus.
Our focus will become more materialistic. We really want the good things in life: a comfortable lifestyle, luxurious surroundings, art, nice furniture, good food…. But thankfully, we also have the ability to attract the wealth to afford for those tastes. We should be careful though, as this is a very easy transit to put some weight on, fall into dissipation, extravagance, and self-indulgence. But if we keep healthy bounds, remain jovial, love life, approach others with warm humor, true sincerity, and come with a good heart, we shall be fine. Our capacity for enjoyment is great. Entertaining brings us great pleasure. We appreciate textures, colors, physical forms, and beauty. Expressing our strong sensuality is very important. Nature is a powerful, loyal, and wise teacher. We need to become stewards of Earth’s resources. Slowing the pace of life down, taking strolls in the countryside, tending to our garden, and enjoying some quiet, relaxing time feels essential this year. Those moments of peace are regenerating and provide us with the ability to contemplate the more spiritual aspects of life.
We find great pleasure and satisfaction in the small things of life. We are more sedentary than prone to traveling to faraway lands and seeking adventure, and very practical in our philosophy of life. Our capacity to learn may be slower but what we focus on, becomes intrinsically part of us. Totally unwilling to sacrifice the moment for some distant, uncertain, nebulous goal, our belief system tends to be conventional and grounded. What does not have a concrete application just feels worthless.
We value our material possessions greatly, may even be quite possessive of them. Our business acumen tends to improve with this position, as do our common sense and reliability. This is a great time to diversify our streams of income, invest in tangible assets such as gold, silver, land or real estate, and develop greater efficiency in our work. Because we take pride in our financial status, -or at least, would like to, our concentration on making money is stronger than usual, in some cases, we may even become downright obsessed with a need to acquire more and more money, regardless of whether we need it or not. With money could come honor or dishonor depending on how we use it. We could end up paying for a service a lot more than it is worth. It could be tempting to go financially overboard without enough collateral, develop a sense of superiority based on our amount of wealth, become too greedy, or overconfident in our ability to expand our revenue. Not to be advised as great trouble could come from creditors. Any debt we may have, we should clear as soon as possible. Showing some restraint, staying grounded and practical, and developing patience, wisdom and discrimination in our investments is essential if we wish to continue growing steadily over time. But thankfully, with this transit come a sound judgement, a great ability for financial planning and a solid sense of timing.
Financial ease usually gives us 3 feelings: the feeling of security, freedom or power. One of the secrets of attracting the money we need, is by developing those feelings already now, in our present circumstances, no matter how far away they may be from the ideal we seek to achieve. It is when without the shadow of a doubt we already feel that sense of security, freedom or power, that the money we want will enter our life. Thinking about it is not enough. During this transit, even if security seems more important than abundance, it is important that we write down what we wish to manifest. We need a concrete list.
The faith that we shall be provided for is strong, but our philosophy of life remains grounded in practicalities and hard work. In our search for meaning, we are likely to feel a strong urge to connect to a reality greater than our own. Our wisdom comes from experience. Our understanding of others, our tolerance for human imperfections, and our sympathy for people’s needs stem from our perceptive intuition. It is necessary that we use our existing material resources in a beneficial way and demonstrate generosity towards those less fortunate than ourselves. Our deep capacity for giving, is not just based on sympathy but on the need to support those who truly deserve help to develop their creative self-expression, which they have earned with their hard, reliable, consistent work. What we give to others that furthers their development, their education or creativity, returns to us manyfold.
In the next 12 months, having great inner confidence, and learning to manage our resources well, are key to achieving all our goals. Our leadership abilities are strong. We know how to get ourselves and others motivated. Our thirst for knowledge is quenched through inner travel, study, teaching, religion, or philosophy. Art, creativity, as well as a significant relationship play an important role in our development. The more charming, lively, expansive, and enthusiastic we are, the more human and material rewards we shall receive from this wonderful cycle.
Wishing you a lovely cycle.
