Venus in Virgo Sep 4-29, 2022

Venus enters Virgo on September 4, 2022 at 9:06 PM Pacific Daylight Saving Time and will stay in that sign until Sep 29, 2022.

In its wisdom, Astrology connected love and money, both ruled by Venus. We may have noticed that the way people are in love is also the way they deal with money.

Venus reveals how we love, whom we love, how we show our affection, the ways in which we express our feelings, and also our attitudes towards finances. Virgo is the sign of the Virgin, not that Virgos remain virgins their whole lives, but if life does not present them a love worthy of their intense scrutiny, they are more content than most to remain celibate. The 25 days, that Venus will spend in Virgo affect our relationships to those we love, but also our money. How? This is what I shall develop here, today...

When Venus is in Virgo, our relationship standards become a lot higher.

Fairytales do not sweep us off our feet. Neither does excessive romance. We feel with our mind rather than with our hearts. We analyze our emotions in a methodical way, are critical, and reasonable. Our approach to relationship is practical. We value reliability, moderation, and over a perfect body, a good mind.

There is a certain selflessness in our relationships. We show our love through concrete, helpful actions, rather than flowery, fluffy romantic, empty promises. Our involvement with our loved ones can become quite intense and even stressful, as our sympathy is called upon by those who are sick and need our help.

Cleanliness of mind and body becomes paramount. We are also drawn to anything related to health, diet and nutrition. This is an excellent time to start a fast or slim down.

Material comfort is also important during this period. We are willing to work hard to acquire it. We may want to go through our closets, give or throw away what we no longer want or need. This is a great time for a make-over, renewing our wardrobe both for elegance and practicality.

We could seem somewhat cool and undemonstrative, but this is not a time to jump impulsively into a relationship. There is a need to develop a friendship, a meeting of the minds, ascertain that we communicate well with each other and have similar moral values before considering going any further. However, because Virgo tends to be peculiar, harmony could be disrupted by an excessive focus on details. Let us not turn molehills into mountains. Wanting our relationship to be reliable, predictable and safe is one thing, becoming overly critical and nagging can destroy even the most promising of connections.

During the next few weeks, we are willing to be patient, knowing that love takes time and careful nurturing to fully develop.

Sensitivity to noise and crowds is likely. During the transit of Venus in Virgo, we need plenty of rest and peace, and also to spend a lot of time in Nature. But most of all, we need to have fun as it is all too easy for Venus in Virgo to just serve so selflessly, that we forget to play. We should also bring out our latent artistic talents. While Venus travels through Virgo, creating beauty in all its forms is very healing.

Emotional scenes, angry explosions get us nowhere during this period. Passion is just perceived to be too chaotic. We are drawn to people who help our work, have a quiet charm, are balanced, self-contained, and modest. We need our inner solitude to be respected and our intelligence, as well as our craftmanship, appreciated.

A disappointment in love, or acute loneliness could make us bury ourselves in the most demanding work we can find. We definitely excel in putting order where there was disorder and healing where there was disease. Our executive abilities are enhanced, and our concentration intensified.

This is a good time to adopt a pet, plant a herb garden, grow flowers, and do a big spring cleaning of our home.

Excellent also for financial planning. We may be a little more conservative with our money, focus more on saving than spending. We are aware of its value and the work involved in making a living.

We could also find ourselves healing issues related to a father figure and a past emotional experience we resolutely need to leave behind.
