JULY 2015
RUNE OF THE MONTH: Perth, “luck”. A month to take risks, walk on the wild side, listen to our intuition, be confident and trust that it is our vision and our heart which determine the outcome of any project.

Venus turns retrograde on Saturday July 25 at 2:29 AM till September 5. Its shadow period remains until October 9. The degree traveled in July (0º46’ to 0º09’ Virgo) is represented in the Sabian Symbols by: “in a portrait, the best of a man’s features are idealized”. A chance to revisit a past love and see the best in it. A time to reevaluate our values, reflect on compassion and forgiveness and become clear on our expectations in relationships. Old friends are likely to resurface requiring a service from us. Financial affairs could be delayed.
Saturn remains retrograde this whole month, until August 1. Its shadow period will remain until November 8th. This month it goes from 29º05’ to 28º17’ Scorpio, these degrees are symbolized by “Children in Halloween costumes, indulging in various pranks” and “An Indian woman pleading to the chief for the lives of her children”. We are still dealing with authority issues. How free are we really? Who controls our lives? What are we subjected to that we don’t fully see nor understand, which nonetheless can enslave us?
Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 18. Its shadow period lasts until March 8, 2016. In July, it travels from 9º43’ to 9º13’ Pisces. The image associated with this degree in the Sabian Symbols is: “An aviator in the clouds”. Viewed from a plane, details disappear, allowing the bigger picture to reveal itself. Above the clouds, the sky is always blue and the sun never stops shining. Spiritually, we are being asked to keep our focus on the soul dimension of all the situations we are finding ourselves involved in, and remember that appearances are never what they seem.
Pluto remains retrograde this whole month between 14º24’ and 13º40’ Capricorn. Its shadow period continues until November 17, 2016. These degrees are symbolized by “An ancient bas-relief carved in granite, remains a witness to a long-forgotten culture” and “A fire worshipper meditates on the ultimate realities of existence”. A month to look deeply within ourselves, reconnect with our lineage and continue exploring the mysteries of life, without being blinded by the “official” history. The truth cannot resist deep introspection and real seeking. Should we care to look, the answers are in front of us.

This month’s intentional meditation begins on Wednesday 7/1. Take out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions, and place them out (on a balcony, near a window or in a garden) to be charged by Full Moon in Capricorn at exactly 7:20 PM. Once that moment has passed, gather your sheets and place them in a folder until the next New Moon in Cancer on Wednesday 7/15. Same procedure as above, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window at exactly 6:24 PM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

Wednesday 07/1: Venus conjunct Jupiter (0:51 AM), Sun Trine Neptune (2:10 PM)
A wonderful day for social activities, attending an art exhibit, gathering with friends, and creating abundance in our lives. We could feel more inspired than usual. Our night dreams could be particularly meaningful. A day to enjoy the company of pleasant people and to channel our higher consciousness.
Thursday 07/2: Mercury Sextile Uranus (11:50 AM)
A day to keep our minds open and flexible. Sudden flashes of insight could reveal information previously hidden. Plans could be disrupted. Unexpected turns of events could reroute us. We could experience a sense of urgency creating much stress. New friends walking to the sound of their own drummer seem exciting. Sudden estrangements with people we have known for a while could occur unexpectedly.
Sunday 07/5: Mercury Sextile Venus (1:19 AM)
A pleasant day of balanced, respectful and loving communications and relationships with others.
Monday 07/6: Sun Opposition Pluto (8:36 AM)
Power struggles are likely today, as well as control issues, manipulations, blackmailing and corruption. Seeking cooperation brings more result than forcing an outcome. Best to stay away from violence. People and situations reveal themselves very clearly today. A day to see deeply beyond appearances.
Wednesday 07/8: Mercury enters Cancer (11:52 AM till 07/23), Mars Trine Neptune (3:43 PM)
During the next 3 weeks, our focus is on family, security, nurturing ourselves and those we cherish. Our imagination is highly developed, good for art, painting, drawing, writing… Actions are inspired and conducted with sensitivity towards others.
Sunday 07/12: Sun Square Uranus (7:53 PM)
Erratic behavior, violent reactions, impulsive separations could mark this turbulent day. Best to remain low key. Instability could wreck plans and cause stress and frictions. Unusual, unforeseen circumstances could force us to be fast on our feet.
Monday 07/13: Mercury Trine Neptune (12:14 PM), Venus Square Saturn (11:48 PM)
A good day for inspired information, for channeling, meditating and art. Our thinking is connected to higher realms of consciousness. Emotionally however, we could feel lonelier than usual and somewhat separated from others with little support and not much warmth.
Wednesday 07/15: Mars Opposition Pluto (7:08 AM), Mercury Opposition Pluto (4:38 PM), Mercury Conjunct Mars (9:14 PM)
A day to avoid confrontations and potential violence at all costs. Words could escalate and create very complex situations. Let us stay away from all manipulations, lack of ethics, power games and control struggles, and wherever possible, seek cooperation as well as equal partnerships. Best to think twice before speaking and be careful when operating a motor vehicle.
Saturday 07/18: Venus enters Virgo (3:38 PM till July 31), Mercury Square Uranus (6:07 PM)
During the next 6 weeks, our love expresses itself through selfless service. We seek emotional quality rather than quantity, purity of feelings and deep healing. Today, more specifically, we should be careful while operating motor vehicles. Impulsive movements, cutting words and alienating actions are more the norm than the exception, and their consequences could be devastating.
Tuesday 07/21: Sun Trine Saturn (4:08 AM)
A wonderful day for fulfilling our long term dreams through structure, discipline, and hard work. Our ambitions are at an all time high. Our plans to succeed are solid.

A day of discipline, concentration, focus and structure. Great for backlogged work and for requesting a promotion. During the next month, we seek admiration, the limelight, warmth and generosity.

During the next 2 weeks, we could feel more expressive than usual, seek the limelight and speak with more decorum and eloquence than we previously thought possible. A great day for communication, exposing our ideas with clarity and focus.
