Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius November 25 to December 15, 2025
If in the past 24 hours you started experiencing missed appointments, mechanical breakdowns, lost keys, delayed mail, miscommunications, or hearing from people you hadn’t seen forever, as well as having to deal with software refusing to cooperate -and it is now my third attempt at writing this message as my text kept mysteriously disappearing on its own! look no further… Yes, indeed, you guessed it! Mercury turned retrograde last night, November 25 at 6:42 PM PST at 22º40’ Sagittarius and will continue its apparent backward motion against the fixed stars until December 15th when it will go direct again at 6º42’ Sag. It may be interesting to find out where those sixteen degrees lie in your natal chart to see which area of your life will be affected.
Moreover, Mercury and Jupiter happen to be in mutual reception (Mercury is in the sign of Jupiter and Jupiter in Gemini, is in the sign ruled by Mercury) which makes them interchangeable.
The next 3 weeks require that we reexamine our spiritual beliefs, moral principles, and sense of justice. Not a good time to start any endeavor of importance (like signing documents or buying a new car), it is however great for resuming university level studies, learning a foreign language we never completed, finishing a book that was collecting dust on a shelf, or traveling to a state or country we hadn't been to in ages. We may hear from a foreigner or an educator who had dropped out of our life, past legal issues could return to be solved, or we might be asked to teach or study a topic we never thought we would ever have to revisit again.
Eager to pierce the veil of confusions, deceits, and misrepresentations, we seek the truth, but could also fall prey to worry, gullibility, or a lack of discrimination and low self-confidence. Situations that seem too good to be true, probably are. Promising more than we can deliver, or believing those who do, could lead to complicated entanglements. Believing that anything is possible, that we are all powerful, and that the sky is the limit while throwing all sensible considerations to the curb, is likely to invite trouble. In our need for excitement, and easily distracted, we tend to take off in a thousand directions at once, making us focus on everywhere but the here and the now. Yet, the informations we gather stimulate novel ideas and open dynamic new doors leading to a self-transformation we may not fully understand until much later.
By forcing us to slow down -as Mercury retrograde always does, we are encouraged to consider different points of view, listen with compassion, understand other people's challenges, and find the right words to soothe their pain.
It is important that we do not turn molehills into mountains and that we avoid becoming fanatical in the expression of our beliefs. Striving to keep a balanced outlook, reacting with wisdom and honesty, as well as remaining conscientious and loyal, is essential.
If we can allow ourselves to be inspired by the vast array of possibilities and manage to control our sincerity so that we do not come across as being too frank or blunt, we shall make the most of this highly philosophical three-week cycle that helps us redefine previously held standards, expand our faith, raise our consciousness, and reach new levels of optimism.
In Loving Light.
