November 19, 2021, Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

Tomorrow, Friday November 19 at 00:57 AM PST, we shall witness the first of 2 eclipses. The Lunar Eclipse in Taurus (27º14') will be followed on Friday December 3 at 11:43 PM PST by a Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius (12º22'). More on that second eclipse in my next mailing.

The longest eclipse in duration since the XVth century, it will be visible mostly in the US and Europe, but also in some parts of Asia and Africa. To find out when to start looking for tonight's eclipse,

Eclipse months always bring a sense of excitement. Major changes are afoot. These times of growth and transformation are mostly felt in the areas (houses) where they happen in our natal chart (picture of the heavens for the time, date and place of our birth). If your birthday falls on -or very close to, November 19 or December 3rd, this new year (from your birthday to your next birthday aka your "Solar Return"), will be particularly significant for you.

This eclipse brings much impulsiveness, impatience, rebelliousness, headstrong attitudes, and violence. Sudden, self-centered, extreme actions are to be expected. Fanatical, inconsistent, unreasonable, dictatorial laws are likely to abound. Social, economic, and political upheavals cause disruptions, disagreements and discord in such a way as to alienate us from people we believed were friends. Associations based on personal gain generating mutual suspicion and distrust, are both unstable and short lived. Clashes of will, unexpected circumstances, unpredictable reactions result in sudden estrangements. If we manage to adjust gracefully to the shifts forced upon us, they lead to deeper personal understanding, true inner growth and eventually a greater good. However, initiating them ourselves is ill-advised.

The tension in the air is so tangible, that we could find ourselves worrying without any specific reason, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, even frustrated and angry. Abiding to rules that seem unjustified, -even downright ridiculous, is harder than usual, thus causing conflicts with authority figures who in turn become defensive. People in positions of power seem unsympathetic, cold, hard, and egotistical. Delays in communication, negative thinking, as well as too many responsibilities lower our vitality, in some cases, precipitating depression. Staying away from dangerous situations is more than recommended. We need to give ourselves the support and recognition we seek, as it is quite unlikely to flow freely from the outside.

Listening to the advice of misguided, unreliable people leads to snap judgements. Jumping to conclusions without sufficient data, taking too much for granted, lacking discipline and common sense affect the stability of our affairs. We could find ourselves alternating between working ourselves to the ground and feeling totally detached and indifferent. No matter how noble our sentiments are, indulging in overeating, unwise spending, emotional excesses, inertia, and lack of discipline brings our efforts to naught.

Yet there is a silver lining to this intensely chaotic eclipse.

A reserved attitude, adhering to a strict code of justice, honoring our integrity, taking care of our home, connecting with our true soul family helps us find inner security and supports our progress.

Even within the limitations at hand, unusual ideas and innovative solutions enable us to improve our financial status. Drawing on our wisdom derived from past experiences, as well as trusting our intuition furthers our ambitions. Our mental powers are greatly heightened. Our creative imagination is intensified. Our psychic abilities are keener than usual. Our self-confidence improves. Amid all the changes transforming life as we knew it, the deeper insights we gain into our own psychological make-up, help us understand others better.

Through art, cultural events, spiritual activities and deep emotional healing, we refine our intuitive insights and find a deeper sense of inner peace. We are likely to engage in enlightening communications with foreigners or people who have traveled, form interesting new friendships and develop a romance with a person who seems to incarnate all our ideals. In the midst of the surrounding mayhem, keeping the eyes of our heart on beauty, peace and balance, helps us stay in the eye of the storm, as this too shall pass. Only one last year to go.

Wishing you a wonderful eclipse day!

Much In Loving Light.
