RUNE OF THE MONTH: Jord “harvest”. A wonderful and very appropriate rune to end the year with. A time to look back at what we created this year and to understand clearly that we reap what we sow. We have blessed the field of our lives, planted seeds and received a harvest. Is it disappointing or prosperous and fulfilling? As this cycle/year ends, we can use the wisdom earned to create more of the same, or do we need to completely change gears and reinvent our reality?

Mercury turns retrograde on December 19 at 15º08’ Capricorn till January 8, 2017 at 28º51’ Sagittarius. The starting degree of this retrogradation is symbolized by “School grounds filled with boys and girls in gymnasium suits”. A wonderful period to reassess our goals, make short and long-term plans for the future and be clear on our position in society. How do we want to be seen? What contribution are we making? What do we wish to achieve in the world? How willing are we to make the efforts to manifest our dreams? How much do we respect first ourselves, that we may respect others?....
Uranus turns direct on December 29 at 20º33’ Aries. Its shadow period continues until April 15, 2017. This degree is symbolized by: “A pugilist entering the ring.” All the realizations of these past months have helped us become aware of the matrix, that we may free ourselves from bondage and slavery and truly begin the process of ascension into our divine truth.

This month’s intentional meditation starts on Tuesday 12/13 with the Full Moon in Gemini. Make sure that at 4:05 PM, you have taken out as many blank sheets as you will have intentions to be charged by the rays of the Full Moon on a balcony, in a garden, or by a window. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder.
On Wednesday 12/28, on the New Moon in Capricorn, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out by exactly 10:53 PM. Once that moment has passed, staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams…

Thursday 12/1: Mars Trine Jupiter (7:46 PM)
Wonderful for expanding our financial and educational horizons. Great also for an adventurous trip that exposes us to a foreign culture and different ways of viewing the world. We feel optimistic and inspire the respect of others by knowing what we want and working towards our goals with much physical stamina.
Friday 12/2: Mercury enters Capricorn (1:19 PM) till January 4, 2017
During the next 3 weeks, our thoughts and the way in which we express them, are serious and focused. To reach our goals, we are willing to work hard, in a disciplined and structured manner. We are likely to prefer meaningful conversations to superficial encounters.
Saturday 12/3: Mars Sextile Saturn (4:16 AM)
Wisdom, practicality and decisiveness help us accomplish a lot today. Using perceived limitations to our advantage will get us a lot further than any rash attempt to rebel against challenges. Great for starting a productive and successful physical training program.
Tuesday 12/6: Mars Sextile Uranus (7:30 PM)
A day to be careful on the road or while manipulating sharp objects. Moods could be volatile. Tempers could suddenly flare up. We feel impatient and tend to make rash decisions. Let us make sure that our great impulse to move forward today doesn’t make us lose sight of the bigger picture, nor lack sensitivity to the needs of others.
Wednesday 12/7: Venus enters Aquarius (6:51 AM) till January 2, 2017
The next month highlights our friendships. Our social life becomes varied, exciting and stimulating. We learn how to balance intimacy and freedom. Our tastes are more eclectic and modern. We are drawn to humanitarian endeavors.
Friday 12/9: Sun Sextile Jupiter (1:39 PM)
One of the happiest days of the year. We are optimistic, filled with faith and feel generous towards those less fortunate than ourselves. A perfect day to start a trip. Excellent for financial matters and beneficial partnerships.
Saturday 12/10: Mercury Sextile Neptune (0:26 AM), Sun Conjunct Saturn (3:51 AM)
An interesting day today. We are disciplined, serious and willing to work hard to fulfill our goals, yet our minds could wander, float in dreamland and have difficulties staying present to the present or focusing on detailed facts and figures. A wonderful day however for anchoring ourselves in deep wisdom and gathering multi-dimensional information.
Sunday 12/11: Sun Trine Uranus (10:56 PM)
A day to expect the unexpected. Nothing could quite go according to plan, yet if we remain open and flexible, the rerouting experienced today will end up being very beneficial. A long lost friend could return, helping us appreciate how much we have grown.
Monday 12/19: Mars enters Pisces (1:23 AM till January 27, 2017)
Pisces Sun and Pisces rising natives are greatly favored during the next 5 weeks. We are drawn to the ocean and could assert ourselves in a more flexible and compassionate manner. Our tolerance to others and our deep understanding makes us act in more sensitive and fluid ways.

Excellent for starting a new job, moving to a different location or launching an exciting project. We feel efficient and self-assured. Sudden opportunities free us from binding obligations. What still works remains, while new dynamics are being introduced in our lives.

Our social contacts today are stimulating, exciting and dynamic. We widen our circle and meet unusual new friends who expand our horizons. Relationships are freeing, warm, yet grounded and solid. An excellent day for financial transactions. We take calculated risks and reap unexpected good results.

We could feel somewhat dreamy and lethargic today. Our energy is best channeled through creative accomplishments. Stimulants of any sort are not advised as we could be more sensitive to alcohol and drugs than usual. Important to research all the facts before making any decision, as we could find that we have been deceived or lied to in some way.
