RUNE OF THE MONTH: Dagaz "purpose". A purpose is a goal we strive towards. It requires clarity, focus, hard work and discipline. It involves all of who we are towards a direction. It defines us, gives meaning to our very existence. It is the reason we are alive. It gives us passion and depth. This month, we are required to search our hearts and know what we believe in, how we wish to be seen, what is our unique contribution to this world that engages all our strengths and talents. ************************
Saturn continues being retrograde this whole month (till July 7) between 5º52' and 4º52' Scorpio.
The shadow period continues until October 14. The degrees it travels through this month are symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by: "The gold rush tears men away from their native soil" and "A massive rocky shore resists the pounding of the sea". We are required to revisit the ways we use our time, money, power. It is a period asking us to be clear on our commitments and responsibilities. Where do we need to persevere and be stronger? Where is it to our benefit to shift gears?
Pluto continues being retrograde this whole month until September 20. The shadow period will last until January 2014.
This month, it travels from 11º01' to 10º20' Capricorn. These 2 degrees are symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by the following images: "An illustrated lecture on natural science reveals little-known aspects of life." and " A large group of pheasant on a private estate". As hidden aspects of ourselves come to the surface, a chance is given to us to reexamine outmoded behaviors. A time of spiritual death and rebirth which forces us to unearth our hidden talents and tap into our own resources to face the economic and social challenges we are confronted with. It reveals what is no longer working in our lives and needs transformation. As we face the necessity to bring about new beginnings, it allows no stone to remain unturned in our inner work. Some major social unrest could come to the surface. Deep layers of society could emerge requiring major cleansing.
Neptune turns retrograde on June 7 at 5º22' Pisces until November 13.
The shadow period (period of time until it reaches the exact same degree it started its retrogration on) extends until March 4, 2014. The degree it travels in June is represented in the Sabian Symbols by "A parade of army officers in full dress". We could feel particularly sleepy, disillusioned and/or loose interest in what we are truly meant to be doing. A general state of dreaming our reality into being rather than getting involved in action is present. If we tap correctly in our spiritual powers, we could find that it takes just thinking about something to manifest it. We could feel that the fabric of reality is very flexible, that time is quite illusionary and that the veil between dimensions is particularly thin. There could be a greater concern surrounding the health of our oceans and the purity of our water in general. A time to purify our emotions and tap deeply in our subconscious by paying attention to our dreams.
Jupiter enters Cancer on June 25 at 6:40 PM till July 16, 2014:
This next year is marked by a need to congregate with our spiritual family. We could be called to explore our lineage and understand our family tree. Parallel lives could reveal themselves, allowing us to reach a greater sense of completion. Our homes could become places we wish to spend more time in. We could become particularly aware of what nurtures us. The public opinion could become more sensitive to the plight of children around the world. We could also become more and more aware of our food, what's in it, how it is grown and investigate the best ways to protect our health. It could be a time of more and more people gathering to create their own vegetable and fruit gardens, or at the very least, grow herbs in their kitchen.
Mercury turns retrograde on June 26 (6:08 AM) at 23º06' Cancer till July 20th (11:22 AM) at 13º23' Cancer.
The degrees it travels this months (23º06'- 22º32' Cancer) are represented in the Sabian Symbols as follows: "The meeting of a literary society" and "A woman and two men castaways on a small island of the South Seas". Mercury retrograde always requires of us to revisit projects that had been collecting dust. It allows people whom we hadn't seen in a while to resurface, and ideas we had forgotten to return to the forefront. This particular retrogradation could stimulate our imagination and cause us to write or paint in a need to express concepts that may not be popular but are helping humankind start again on a whole new basis. We are required to master our moods and stay centered in our inner peace, rather than just react emotionally to the ebb and flow of everything that comes our way. We could become particularly concerned about remodeling our home or making it more comfortable. We are also becoming particularly sensitive to the spiritual ties we have with family members. Our psychic abilities and need for inner security are enhanced. ************************

Our Intentional Meditation
Our intentional meditation started on May 24 with the Full Moon (Lunar eclipse) in Sagittarius.
On the New Moon in Gemini on 6/8, take out your blank full moon charged papers and write on each a concise, positive intention. Place them on a balcony, in a garden or near a window so that they are out at exactly 8:56 AM (you can put them out up to several hours prior to that time). Once that moment has passed (even if several hours later, or the next morning), staple them together and put them away in a folder expecting the manifestation of all your dreams… On Sunday 6/23, place as many blank sheets as you will have intentions out to be charged by the Full Moon in Capricorn at exactly 4:32 AM. Once that moment has passed, put them away in a folder until the next New Moon in Cancer on July 8 at 0:14 AM. ************************
Saturday 6/1: Sun Sextile Uranus (6:46 PM)
A day to expect the unexpected. Unusual situations abound. We meet interesting, stimulating, somewhat eccentric people. Our charisma impresses others. Good for fearlessly branching into new directions.
Sunday 6/2: Venus enters Cancer (7:13 PM till June 27)
During the next 3 weeks, we may be more sensitive and nurturing than usual. A wonderful period for artists, particularly painters. We may wish to spend more time at home and want to decorate it, make it cozier and more welcoming. We are likely to feel emotionally involved with our family, both biological and spiritual, particularly mother figures and children. Saturday, 6/8: Mercury Square Uranus (11:47AM)
People and circumstances could prove quite chaotic today. Erratic behavior might be more the norm than the exception. Explosive, sudden revelations could lead to unexpected separations. Imperative to be careful when operating any sharp instrument or while driving. We could be projected into the unknown in a way that enables us to see a situation in a whole new light.
Tuesday 6/11: Venus Opposition Pluto (3:06 PM), Saturn Trine Neptune (4:18 PM)
Our ability to see through people and situations should be used with generosity and kindness. The more we extend ourselves towards others in serenity, the more peace and harmony we generate. A day when balancing spiritual consciousness with material considerations brings about ideal circumstances.

Today, we could easily estrange the people we cherish the most, by engaging in erratic behavior or being too rebellious. Best to remain as calm as possible and avoid big changes. Even if short lived, social encounters are unusual, exciting and freeing.

A day to seek inventive solutions that change our routine. Great for daring, constructive changes which create new, exciting circumstances in our lives.
Wednesday 6/19: Sun Conjunct Jupiter (9:11 AM)
One of the very best days of the year. A day when high self-esteem is rewarded. Wonderful to receive gifts, get promoted, and go after what we believe in with enthusiasm, conviction, generosity and an open mind.
Thursday 6/20: Mercury Conjunct Venus (7:57 PM), Sun enters Cancer (10:04 PM till July 22)
A pleasant day, good for gathering with friends. Conversations are serene. We are drawn to romantic stories or movies. During the next month, we feel more nurturing, closer to our home and family, as well as more inspired. Cooking, art, as well as activities with children, are enhanced.
